Peace In Action

Peace in Action happens when we provide energy.

We know most families today are pulled in multiple directions. Not all families look alike. Not all members of all families have the same interests or abilities. Not being able to participate in a scheduled activity for whatever reason can be discouraging. With this in mind, our board will execute our mission to encourage outreach into the community, in effect to be the body of Christ, to give aid, assistance and comfort for those outside our congregation with an individualized family-centered approach.

Here’s how-

  • Individual family units are asked to commit to a minimum of two service events per quarter

    • More events are great, if your situation allows
    • Each year, try to do at least two of these events away from our physical facility
    • Vary the events you choose or stick with one you enjoy when you find it
  • Opportunities for service will be posted on our Bulletin board and website

    • Events will be posted and updated regularly to spread the word
    • Contact information will be available to get more information for specific events
    • Events listed will be varied and feedback from participants will be welcome
