Where every child finds a place to fit in...

Lightning Bugs Children's Ministry   4:30 - 5:30 pm in the Youth Building

- Kids in K-5th grade come together to praise, worship and learn all about Jesus Christ and God's word! This high-energy extension of Sunday school is an awesome opportunity for children to recieve additional Christian education throughout the week. Lessons are fun and interactive and the curriculum is all age-based to give each child a chance to learn at their own level.

  • To find out more information or register your child, please email familylife@peacehewitt.org.

Nursery - The Peace nursery is open on Sunday during the Service at 9 am, as well as during Sunday school 10:30 am. Congregational volunteers staff the nursery two at a time, often with youth helpers. All children are encouraged to worship with their parents in the main sanctuary, but the nursery is there for our guests and visitors any time you need it. Faith Activity bags can be picked up for younger children in the Narthex by the nursery door and returned after service. Please contact Nursery Coordinator Roslyn Melde  if you are interested in serving in the nursery ministry or have any questions about the nursery.

Enduring Faith Sunday School - Children from Pre-K through High School are able to attend Sunday school classes at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday morning. Enduring Faith follows a same-age classroom model so students learn and grow in faith alongside their peers. Together, they explore the Bible, draw connections to the Small Catechism, and learn the traditions of the Lutheran Church. Guests are always welcome and encouraged to attend!

  • 3rd - 5th Grade -  Melody Kingsbury and Nicole Hudspeth

Peace Lutheran Youth Fellowship - Our youth ministry is a safe and embracing environment for students in Grades 9-12 to come and hang out with other Christian teens. We regularly study God's word and serve in our community.  Youth Group meets every Sunday at 4:30 pm in the Youth Room in the Youth Activities Center.

Middle School Confirmation - 6th, 7th and 8th graders are invited to join us in our Youth Activities Center every Sunday afternoon for our exciting and challenging Confirmation program. Each year students learn more about their growing faith from adult mentors and also go on a weekend long retreat to Camp Lone Star.  Please email Pastor Smith for more information on how your child can begin the Confirmation program at Peace!
